What Is Safe Screens, Safe Schools?
Safe Screens, Safe Schools is an education and outreach initiative that helps parents, students, educators, law enforcement, and communities navigate the challenges affecting young people online and at school. Drawing on decades of law enforcement experience, School Resource Officer work, cybercrime investigations involving children, and real-world school safety experience, the goal is to turn what we see in investigations, classrooms, schools, and online into practical information families and professionals can use.
The focus goes beyond internet safety. Safe Screens, Safe Schools addresses social media, gaming, emerging technology, online exploitation, cybercrime, juvenile justice, school safety, threat awareness, parent supervision, and the changing digital culture surrounding today’s tweens and teens. Through community outreach, student and parent presentations, professional training, and ongoing education, the mission is simple: give the adults responsible for young people better information, better tools, and a better understanding of the world kids are navigating.

Meet Officer Rob
Officer Rob brings nearly four decades of law enforcement experience to Safe Screens, Safe Schools, including years serving as a School Resource Officer and investigating cybercrimes involving children. As an ICAC affiliate and cybercrime investigator, his work has provided a firsthand look at how technology, social media, online exploitation, and other digital threats affect young people and their families.
His work also extends well beyond investigations. Officer Rob provides presentations and training for students, parents, educators, school districts, community organizations, and law enforcement professionals on internet safety, cybercrime, juvenile justice, school safety, and the rapidly changing digital world surrounding today’s tweens and teens.
He also works with My Cyber Safe School and BeSure Consulting, helping bring practical, real-world digital safety education directly into schools and communities.
